Settings

You can change the following:

Password

1. Enter your old password or if you are currently logged in via an OAuth2 account, leave this field empty.

2. Enter your new password twice. The new password must be secure. The longer or random the better 1. It must be at least 8 characters long.

3. Click Change to save your new password.

Email

1. Enter your new email address and your current password. Leave the password field empty if you are logged in via OAuth.

2. Click Change.

3. You will receive an email to your old email account and to your new one. To confirm the change, click the confirmation link in the new email account.

OAuth Connections

1. If not already done, set a password (see above).

2. Click the red bin icon to remove an OAuth connection on this instance of MergeBoard.

1. Choose an image by using the system file dialogue behind Choose File.

2. Click Set Image.

3. Refresh to see your image in this menu.

The strength of a password is calculated by compressing it using a list of most common passwords. The resulting number of bits needed to represent your password with this form of compression will then be compared against a minimum threshold that can be set by your admin but must at least be 60.
